Lindores Abbey Aqua Vitae Description
An unusual spirit drink from the home of Scotch whisky itself! Lindores Abbey is noted for being the location of the first recorded reference to whisky, with King James IV ordering 'aqua vitae' in 1494, with the monks at the abbey thought to have been distilling for some time before then. The new distillery at Lindores Abbey have crafted this spirit in tribute to its most famous produce. Distilled in pot stills and infused with spices and herbs grown in the grounds of the ancient abbey, Aqua Vitae is bottled at 40% abv.
