527 years after the first distillate in 1494, Lindores Abbey is back with its first single malt release in 2021! This much-anticipated release has been treated to a 3 and a half year maturation in a combination of ex-bourbon, ex-sherry and STR (shaved, toasted and recharred) ex-Burgundy wine casks before being bottled up at 46% abv. Hopes have been high with this release, but we can safely say that the hype is very much real.

Lindores Abbey MCDXCIV Description
Hamish Says...
Our Hamish has had a sip and jotted down his thoughts.
Nose: soft and mellow with high notes of vanilla, caramel, green apples and pear drops.
Palate: incredibly smooth and creamy, with dried fruits, figs, raisins, a burst of citrus and a hint of spice.
Finish: a light but lingering finish.

If your item is damaged in transit or you receive an item that is clearly different to that ordered, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery. We will arrange a free return via courier and issue a full refund to your original payment method once we have received the returned items.
