Linkwood 1981 Private Collection Description

This 39 year old Linkwood single malt is another cracking wee find by Gordon & Macphail. Released in their Private Collection Series, this whisky was distilled back on 12th November 1981. Post-It Notes had not yet been launched, but this whisky was already maturing in Gordon & Macphail’s casks.

Hamish Says

Nose: vanilla, apple, ripe pear.

Palate: dried spices, sour grapefruit, orange peel.

Finish: long, luxurious finish, toasted oak, oily spice notes.
