Madre Mezcal Description
Made in the rolling Oaxacan hills of Sierra Juárez in Mexico, Madre Mezcal is created with traditional processes; Espadin and Cuixe agave are smoked in the earth and stone-ground in a horse-drawn tahona, before being fermented with water from local wells and wild mountain yeast.
Nose: slightly wood smoke and dry earthiness.
Palate: herbal notes of sage and copal sweetness.
Finish: lingering, fresh and floral.
