Rare Auld Grain Strathclyde Sherry Cask 1990 30 Year Old Description

An old grain whisky can be hard to find, so you would think a 30 Year Old Strathclyde single grain whisky would be as scarce as hens teeth (to say, nearly non-existent!). This makes us extra proud to offer this dram. The Strathclyde Distillery produce grain whisky for developing blends, but independent bottlers such as Duncan Taylor have been able to get their hands on a few of the select aged casks.

Distilled back in August of 1990, this has spent 30 years in a sherry cask, gently resting until reaching its peak maturation point. There are only 248 bottles of this rare grain whisky available, and it is bottled at 48.3% abv without artificial colouring or chill filtration.

A real contender and one for any collector of grain whisky. This will give any single malt a run for its money!
