A part of That Boutique-y Whisky Company's Return to Oz collection showing off the best of Australian whisky, this single malt hails from Riverbourne distillery - located 60km southeast of Canberra. The expression was crafted using heavily peated malt from Bairds, and was matured for two years in an 100 litre cask made from recycled, charred oak wine staves. On the bottle, the deadly animal chosen to represent Riverbourne is the common death adder. It overlooks a whack-a-wombat session by the distillers, which is a reference to the destruction that pesky local wombats cause in and around the distillery. Bottled at 51% abv.
