Here’s a great wee dram from the Isle of Arran – Single Cask Nation’s Lochranza 2015, and at just 9 years old, it’s fair to say it packs a serious punch. Full sherry maturation in a first-fill cask has given it loads of rich, bold flavour – way more than you’d expect for its age. Distilled in December 2015 and bottled at a hearty 57.1% abv, it’s no shy dram. Only 316 bottles came out of cask #153118, so if you spot one, grab it while you can. Just goes to show – with a good cask like this, age is just a number.
