Singleton 17 Year Old Special Releases 2020 Description

This unusual first-ever exclusively refill cask release of The Singleton Dufftown has been matured for seventeen years in refill American oak hogsheads, to showcase the fresh, spring-like nature of this slowly crafted single malt. The Singleton is renowned for the smoothness and balance of its whiskies, which match the liveliness and vigour of the leaping salmon in the fast flowing rivers of the Highlands of Scotland.

Part of the Diageo Special Releases 2020 range, this expression is highly-limited.

Hamish Says...

Our Hamish has had a sip and jotted down his thoughts.

Nose: mellow and mild overall; the first impression is of honeycomb; spun honey and beeswax, and beneath this is a faint floral note of dry grasses or wallflowers, with fresh orchard fruits on an earthy base.

Palate: a creamy and smooth texture; the taste intense and sweet overall, and both drying and slightly coating as that hint of beeswax re-appears.

Finish: quite long and warming with white pepper, becoming chili in the aftertaste.

Returns

If your item is damaged in transit or you receive an item that is clearly different to that ordered, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery. We will arrange a free return via courier and issue a full refund to your original payment method once we have received the returned items.

If you wish to cancel your order for any other reason, contact us within 14 days of delivery. You will be responsible for the cost of returning your items. Items must be returned within 14 days from the date of cancellation. Refunds will be issued to your original payment method when we receive the items.
