A blended malt from Compass Box, originally banned in 2006 for its unique ageing method. It was restored to grateful whisky lovers in 2009 with an adapted maturation method.From the boutique Scotch whisky maker Compass Box, it is made from a combination of three Highland single malts and the innovative ageing gives the whisky a unique, complex character. The Spice Tree is ideal for sipping, especially as a digestif or during the colder months, and as an accompaniment to hard cheeses.
Nose: A biscuit box with digestives and ginger snaps, bunches of fresh herbs and a seaside walk.
Palate: Rich and waxy, heavily spiced and aromatic with a touch of vanilla.
Finish: Long, luscious and spicy.
