Talisker Distillers Edition Description

After the usual American oak maturation this Talisker undergoes an extra maturation in Amoroso sherry casks making it sweeter and richer than the standard Talisker.

Vintage 2010, bottled in 2020.

Hamish Says

Nose: Hot pepperiness combined with sultana sweetness, rich sherry and an air of coastal breeze.

Palate: Juicy dark fruits with vanilla, heather burning on the moor with peat smoke in the background.

Finish: A long plume of sweet and salty smoke with dried fruits.
