Not only is this a single cask, and the first batch, this dram is even more special. This batch of 189 bottles comes from the very first cask that the Oxford Artisan Distillery had ever filled! A cracking wee piece of history, one that we very, very rarely get to see! We ask ourselves, where do those chaps at That Boutique-y Whisky Company find such drams? The answer this time is Oxford. The Oxford Artisan Distillery is a grain distillery, challenging preconceptions with an innovative outlook. This one is a single grain whisky made with grains found on surrounding land such as corn, rye, wheat, and malted barley. Aged for three years, it was given a finish in a Sauternes cask and is bottled at 50% abv. It is part of the Home Nations Series. The label is designed to be characteristic of the first product from the distillery, showing the team harvesting grains with the city of Oxford in the background. Nose: bright, crisp orchard fruits, rye, malted barley.

Palate: biscotto, lemon peel, thyme, nutty oakiness.

Finish: herbaceous notes, with oily finish.

Returns

If your item is damaged in transit or you receive an item that is clearly different to that ordered, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery. We will arrange a free return via courier and issue a full refund to your original payment method once we have received the returned items.

If you wish to cancel your order for any other reason, contact us within 14 days of delivery. You will be responsible for the cost of returning your items. Items must be returned within 14 days from the date of cancellation. Refunds will be issued to your original payment method when we receive the items.

Please note that any personalised, engraved, bespoke or made-to-order items, or items with a broken seal, are non-refundable unless faulty.
