A smooth rye whiskey from a marriage of three cask finishes: 63% Madeira, 30% Sauternes and 7% Port. Created by the team at WhistlePig farm distillery in Vermont where the motto is 'Triple Terroir' – ensuring grain, water and wood all originate from the farm itself.
Nose: vanilla, caramel and apple cider.
Palate: smooth and buttery with the Madeira wood imparting molasses and raisin notes, the Sauternes bringing nectarines and the Port introducing grilled cherry.
Finish: long lasting with spicy aspects.
