This limited edition single malt has been released to celebrate 125 years of the Knockdhu distillery, home of anCnoc whisky. Distilled from barley peated to 40ppm, this Highland single malt has been matured in ex-bourbon barrels before being finished in sherry casks and bottled at 46% abv.
Nose: toasted oak and cured meats with peat bursts.
Palate: peaty and slightly medicinal with sweet caramel notes.
Finish: raisins and smoke lingering.
