Balblair 2005 Description

This 2005 vintage from the Highlands' Balblair distillery has been matured in ex-bourbon American oak barrels. Bottled in December 2015, free from chill-filtration and artificial colouring, this single malt is presented at 46% abv.

Nose: green apples, honey & spice, oaky vanilla, leather and orange – classic Balblair!

Palate: citrus orchards and an intensely sweet toffee and vanilla.

Finish: long and spicy.
