Since taking control of the BenRiach Distillery, Speyside, in 2004, revered whisky maverick has transformed it from predominantly producing whisky for blends, to one of the most prolific single malt whisky producers in the nation.

Following the success of various age statement releases created under Billy's ownership comes the very first cask strength batch release from the distillery. Bottled at an astonishing 57.2% ABV it embodies classically voluptuous BenRiach style - with added punch!

Hamish Says...

Our Hamish has had a sip and jotted down his thoughts.

Nose: Sweet toasted oak spices are interwoven with roasted orchard fruits and dusted with cracked barley. Black vanilla pods, desiccated coconut and a gentle floral note add complexity to the ripe, fruit-laden nose..

Palate: Creamy heather honey pours over a medley of apples, pears and apricots. Subtle notes of candied peel and fresh ginger give a delicate warmth. 

Finish: A classic combination of vanilla, toasted coconut and sweet barley make up a luscious, velvety finish.

Returns

If your item is damaged in transit or you receive an item that is clearly different to that ordered, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery. We will arrange a free return via courier and issue a full refund to your original payment method once we have received the returned items.

If you wish to cancel your order for any other reason, contact us within 14 days of delivery. You will be responsible for the cost of returning your items. Items must be returned within 14 days from the date of cancellation. Refunds will be issued to your original payment method when we receive the items.

Please note that any personalised, engraved, bespoke or made-to-order items, or items with a broken seal, are non-refundable unless faulty.
