Inveraray: The Gateway to the Islay Festival 2022
The Islay Festival (or Fèis Ìle to give it its Sunday name) is perhaps the biggest event in the whisky calendar. Here on the West Coast, Inveraray is a natural stopping place for the hordes of whisky pilgrims on their way to the Queen of the Hebrides. We have almost every nationality you can think of passing through our shop’s red doors, each one looking to sample the water of life and find that dream dram.
Our favourite recommendation for these peat-heads is always our very own award-winning The Living Cask 1745, a blended malt made up exclusively of Islay single malts and inspired by our location here as the gateway to Islay. This is always a popular dram among our peat-passionate customers, and we are down to our last few bottles, available exclusively in our shop in Inveraray whilst stocks last!
Of course, for the followers among you of The Living Cask series, Batch 11 and 12 are now available both in store and online. It’s our very own blended malt created with almost three decades of experience in listening to our customers! Batch 11 is reminiscent of days at the beach, the latest addition to our Living Cask series is the perfect dram for the approaching summer months! Containing 15% of Batch 10, our delicate sweet and smoky blended malt is the perfect addition to your collection.
The Loch Fyne The Living Cask Batch 12 uses Batch 11 as the base, and then has whiskies from Linkwood, Mortlach and Ben Nevis added. The Linkwood and Mortlach expressions have been finished in Moscatel wine casks to add some rich and sweet complexity.

BUNNAHABHAIN ABHAINN ARAIG FEIS ILE RELEASE 2022
Introducing Abhainn Araig! This heavenly Bunnahabhain expression was matured in a combination of bourbon, Oloroso sherry, and Pedro Ximenez casks. The resulting dram is sweet, spicy, and simply unforgettable. Released to celebrate this year's Feis Ile, this expression was bottled at 50.8% abv and is free from artificial colouring and chill-filtration. An exceptional whisky inspired by the mysterious waters of Islay.
GLEN SCOTIA 8 YEAR OLD CAMPBELTOWN MALTS FESTIVAL 2022
This expression of Glen Scotia has been released to celebrate the Campbeltown Malts Festival. It spent seven and a half years in first-fill bourbon barrels before spending a year in first-fill Pedro Ximenez hogsheads to finish. Bottled at a cask strength of 56.5% abv, this dram free from chill-filtration and artificial colouring. A truly special single malt!
BUNNAHABHAIN 1998 CALVADOS FEIS ILE RELEASE 2022
A fabulous new limited edition release from Bunnahabhain! Launched to celebrate the Feis Ile 2022, this 23-year-old expression was finished in Calvados brandy casks to create this sweet and wonderfully fruity dram. Bottled at 49.7% abv, this expression is free from chill filtration and artificial colouring. Outstanding!
