Glenfarclas

Glenfarclas is a family run distillery, which has been run by the Grant family since 1865. It is situated on the moors of Banffshire, close to the River Spey and draws its water from the springs on Ben Rinnes. Glenfarclas almost exclusively produces whisky for single malts, and most are matured in sherry butts and aged in warehouses on site, which hold up to 52,000 casks. Glenfarclas has a long line of vintage casks since 1952, and is host to one of the most impressive visitor centres.
