Glenfarclas 1953 Description
This Highland Single Malt is from the oldest cask owned by the family-run Glenfarclas distillery, having been distilled in 1953 and matured in a single Spanish oak sherry cask. Presented non chill-filtered and at a natural cask strength of 43.9% abv only 97 bottles of this incredible single malt exist.
Nose: rich sherry developing into lovely toffee notes and delicate oak.
Palate: warm spices, stewed fruits and liquorice.
Finish: incredibly long with toffee apples and cinnamon sticks.
