Karuizawa 1984 Single Cask #7975 Cocktail Series

A rare Japanese whisky, this 1984 expression from Karuizawa was aged for 28 years in a single sherry cask. It was decanted in 2012, into only 445 bottles at a cask strength of 59.3% abv. It is a part of four 'Cocktail Series' bottlings specially selected by La Maison du Whisky in Paris, France.

Karuizawa distillery crafted whisky on the southern slopes of Mount Asama from 1955 to its closure in 2001, however, indepedent bottler Number One Drinks have since released precious single malts from their warehouse. It has become one of the most sought-after single malts in the world, especially as the stock continues to wear thin.
