Kilchoman Sanaig Description

Located on a rugged stretch of coasts on the north of Islay, Sanaigmore is a region battered by tidal surf and strong northern winds and is an appropriate namesake for this whisky. Sanaigmore is matured in a combination of both bourbon and sherry casks, taking most of its flavour influence from the latter, thus giving it the flavours of deep rich fruit cake, balancing delicately with the purity of Islay peated smoke, the truest spirit of Kilchoman.

Our Hamish has had a sip and jotted down his thoughts.

Nose: fragrant scents of mixed spices, dried pitted fruits, and heather; tempered in the deep sense of smoky peat.

Palate: Citrus, with the slight tang of red cherries and the sweetness of over-ripened plum, yielding to peat-smoked barbeque, essence of oak, the richness and confection of toffee and slight bitterness of dark chocolate.

Finish: A spiced and sweet concoction of cinnamon and cloves with caramel; with tiers of brown sugar and peat smoke.

Returns

If your item is damaged in transit or you receive an item that is clearly different to that ordered, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery. We will arrange a free return via courier and issue a full refund to your original payment method once we have received the returned items.

If you wish to cancel your order for any other reason, contact us within 14 days of delivery. You will be responsible for the cost of returning your items. Items must be returned within 14 days from the date of cancellation. Refunds will be issued to your original payment method when we receive the items.

Please note that any personalised, engraved, bespoke or made-to-order items, or items with a broken seal, are non-refundable unless faulty.
