A vibrant and rich Rioja cask from Ledaig! This single malt whisky is the first release in the island distillery's Sinclair Series, made with heavily peated barley and matured in ex-bourbon casks, before being treated to a finish in hand-selected Spanish Rioja casks. Superb!

Hamish Says

Nose: Turkish delight and rose petals, balanced with candied fruits and grapes.

Palate: a creamy mouthfeel greets the palate, followed by flavours of chocolate, almonds, pepper and a sweet maltiness.

Finish: lingering smoke, topped off with red fruits and sea spray.
