Our Hamish has had a sip and jotted down his thoughts.
Nose: raisins, dark chocolate, sherry and a hint of ozone without water; black cherry preserve, blackcurrant leaf and cinnamon sticks make themselves known with.
Palate: potent and complex, with old-fashioned fruit cake, burnt caramel, dark chocolate torte, oak spice, and an intensely mentholic fresh note.
Finish: dark orange and lime marmalade and sweet spice jostle with punchy tannins.
