Island Whisky

As well as the mainland, Scotland is made up of many smaller islands - most of which have at least one whisky distillery. They have a long history of producing the water of life, including when illegal operations were rife! (Good on them, I say!) On the west coast, to the left of Glasgow on the map, we have Skye, Lewis, Arran, Jura and Mull. In the north east, we have Orkney and the Shetland Islands.

Discover the unique qualities of each, as every expression takes on the natural characteristics of their respective island. You will discover that they are often described as smoky, rugged and maritime - though this can vary wildly. Always tasty, however – take a look!
