Arran Sherry Cask The Bodega

Distilled and matured at the Arran's eponymous distillery in Lochranza, this expression, subtitled The Bodega, is matured in some of the finest first fill sherry hogsheads available, reminiscent of some of the earliest Arran single malts. Warm and mouth-filling with ripe figs, sweet cherries, and plenty of sherried notes, it surely deserves its spot on our best seller list.

Benrinnes 15 Year Old

Benrinnes received lots of love this year. The single malt from their distillery in Speyside is partially triple distilled, before being aged for 15 years. Usually a hidden gem among Scotch aficionados, this sweet, peaty dram was very well-received in 2023.

Yamazaki 12 Year Old Suntory 100th Anniversary Release

I far east of Inveraray to secure this once-in-a-lifetime bottling for our customers. And I'm pleased to report that many Japanese whisky lovers added this limited release to their collections. To celebrate 100 years of the world-famous House of Suntory, they released this special Yamazaki 12 Year Old, fabled for its fresh and distinctive flavour. This here one is presented with a new label celebrating the distillery's historic founding a century ago, honouring its commitment to superb quality and innovation.

The Loch Fyne Botanical Gin

Folk love our Botanical Gin! At the heart of our gin are juniper, coriander and orange peel, complemented by the addition of sea buckthorn, heather pearls, lemon peel and traditional milk thistle. These ingredients combine to create a distinctive yet balanced gin, with plenty of aromatic appeal and a lingering, sweet herbal finish.

Kilchoman Sanaig

Located on a rugged stretch of coasts on the north of Islay, Sanaigmore is a region battered by tidal surf and strong northern winds and is an appropriate namesake for this whisky. Sanaigmore is matured in a combination of both bourbon and sherry casks, taking most of its flavour influence from the latter, thus giving it the flavours of deep rich fruit cake, balancing delicately with the purity of Islay peated smoke, the truest spirit of Kilchoman.

Blair Athol 12 Year Old

Bottled for the Flora and Fauna collection named for the late whisky writer Michael Jackson, in which each distillery is given a particular creature to be elegantly displayed on the label. Here, an otter is used in reference to the Alt Dour Burn (The Burn of the Otter) which is Blair Athol's ancient water supply. This dram has a mellow deep toned aroma, with strong dried fruit spice elements from sherry cask maturation and a lovely smooth finish.

Ailsa Bay 1.2

Ailsa Bay Release 1.2 is distilled in Girvan on the west coast of Scotland. Developed by Master Distiller Brian Kinsman, this is the only Scotch whisky to undergo 'micro-maturation'. This unique process involves maturing the new-make spirit in small ex-bourbon casks for six to nine months, giving an intense, accelerated maturation, before being transferred to virgin, fist-fill and refill American oak casks for a number of years.

The Loch Fyne Blend

We crafted our own Loch Fyne blended whisky to help tell our story, and so many of our lovely customers enjoyed hearing it. It's an amalgamation of all we have learned about blends over the past 24 years and we consider it one of the best. We like to call it ‘the malt drinker’s blend’. Full of notes of orchard fruits, honey and gentle spice: it's no wonder why its a best-seller.

The Hearach Isle of Harris Whisky

Isle of Harris's very first legal dram was our best selling single malt of 2023. We sold out of The Hearach very quickly, as it was a coveted first release. The single malt is inspired by its home in the Outer Hebrideans, with it having been lovingly made by island hands. Matured for a minimum of five years, in a combination of first-fill ex-bourbon casks and Oloroso and Fino sherry butts, the whisky is lightly peated at 12-15ppm.

The Loch Fyne Chocolate & Orange Liqueur

In crafting our signature Scotch liqueur, we aimed to bring the beverage up to date - imbuing our creation with chocolate and orange flavours. It seems that we succeeded in our mission, as our liqueur was our best-selling item of 2023. It’s a modern twist on a traditional concept – a delicious Scotch whisky liqueur that is not too sweet and not too sticky. Perfect on its own or over ice and sensational when served as a spritzer with tonic or soda.
